Vendée Jukebox — Retro charm, today’s technology
A custom music application designed to bring the spirit of a traditional jukebox into a café.
The context and the solution
A tablet with the spirit of a jukebox.
Personal project
Vendée Jukebox takes its name from La Vendée, the café where the application is used.
The project began as a personal initiative. Its aim was to turn an ordinary tablet into a jukebox, giving people in the café an original, friendly way to enjoy music.
I designed and developed an application connected to Spotify, with track search, playlist browsing, a music queue and playback controls in a touch interface.
Its visual identity draws on older jukeboxes: vinyl records, retro buttons, warm colours and a presentation inspired by the original machines.
This project shows how I design digital solutions for specific environments, combining creativity, custom features and ease of use.
